FALL PROGRAMS AVAILABLE AT ELEV8 LACROSSE

Calgary Field Lacrosse operates independently with a primary commitment to enhancing student-athlete development in a positive and engaging environment.

ELEV8 Lacrosse is the country’s leading, most-respected, well-coached, and consistent club program. The ELEV8 coaching staff is highly professional and experienced, consisting of Professional NLL players, World Lacrosse and Team Canada Coaches, and NCAA Division I, II, and III graduates.  Calgary Field is proud to strategically partner with ELEV8 Lacrosse as they grow and develop players and set the foundation for future generations.

The Calgary Field season runs from June to August however, ELEV8 Lacrosse has a variety of programs year-round for student-athletes starting in the sport or continuing to enhance their skills set through out the year.  Below please find programs available in the fall and winter at ELEV8 Lacrosse.

ELEV8 SCOOP

The program focuses on teaching basic fundamental lacrosse skills in an ideal learning environment for aspiring young lacrosse players.  The program focuses on building players’ confidence utilizing an innovative curriculum in a positive and unique way through drills, games, and activities while having fun, learning basic lacrosse skills, and new concepts or refining skills to take players to the next level.

ELEV8 YOUTH ACADEMY

Continue your lacrosse journey with the perfect introduction to a more structured player-focused environment.

The ELEV8 Youth Academy provides a path and structure to elite competition at the youth level for Western Canada’s most ambitious youth players. With a focus on the three ELEV8 pillars, Character, Culture, and Compete, the ELEV8 Academy professional staff work with your student-athlete to focus on skill development and fundamentals and provide the basis for the rest of their playing future. The pillars and principles support success in lacrosse, in the classroom, and all life endeavours.

Twice a week Sept. to Oct.

ELEV8 WINTER TRAINING

The ELEV8 Lacrosse Winter Training is a focused program, providing the highest level of indoor lacrosse instruction and dry-land training in North America. 

The goal of the program is to maximize skill development, character development, and establish goal setting practices to best prepare male and female lacrosse players to make the jump to the next level; ultimately becoming better athletes, competitors, and citizens.

Programs are exclusively led by ELEV8 Lacrosse and are non-parented. ELEV8 Coaches fall under the following experience levels: NLL, MLL, FIL, NCAA, and NCAA committed.

Calgary Field is designed to allow lacrosse players to experience the full benefit of a season of practice while having the flexibility of attending games that work with their summer schedule.

Boys Field Lacrosse

Boys Program is for boys in Pre-K through post-grad and is designed to develop our young athletes to become complete lacrosse players with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game.

No previous experience is required for any of the age groups. We encourage new players to join at any level. It is never too late to start playing lacrosse.

Girls Field Lacrosse

Our program is designed to develop our young athletes to become lacrosse players with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game. We do this by stressing individual skills within the team play concept.

COVID-19 UPDATE

June 9, 2020 Calgary Field Lacrosse is excited to resume all in-person operations and instruction this season.   In alignment with the Alberta Government Relaunch - Stage 2 announcement on June 9, 2020 skills development, competition, and mini-league play (inter-squads) will resume on sports fields will occur this season. The season is scheduled to begin in early July 2020 registration is ongoing. We encourage early enrollment to minimize delays in uniforms.  Accordingly, we are continually monitoring COVID-19 developments with the guidance of Alberta Health Services and the City of Calgary Officials.  The safety of Calgary Field Lacrosse Club students-athletes, coaching staff, volunteers, and families are paramount, and any future decisions involving instructional changes will be communicated electronically to registered members should the need arise.
